Sean Parsons The Linux Box is at the mercy of its slacker web admin Sean Parsons. He likes long walks on the beach, romantic dinners, and whatever other useless junk he should type about himself..... OK, now that I've admitted that it is me placing this drivel that some call content here on the site I can quit communicating in the third person.

I am not a great web-designer/programmer, just someone whom enjoys using Linux and thought that I would register this domain to create my own fan-site. This fan-site is probably only one step above a glorified blog (or atleast I hope it is a step above) but the final decision on that lies with you the reader.

I make no promise that I will be placing lots of original content on this site everyday, as my real career is as a pharmacy professor at a little non-profit school where we don't even charge tuition. In the not to distant future, my better thee-quarters and I will be starting our own non-profit pharmacy to help patients in the Medicare 'Gap' and the underinsured. But we do intend to build our pharmacy around open source software which should certainly generate some interesting content for discussion.

What I do hope is that the content added to this site is worth your time as you browse through the stories, listen to podcasts, watch screencasts, and download a few goodies.
